George Lamelza is the co-founder of Single Christianity Magazine. His perspective is shaped by a long season of singleness following divorce—a season marked by rebuilding, faith, loneliness, and learning how to live well when life doesn’t turn out as planned.
Rather than rushing past that chapter, George learned to sit in it, wrestling with questions of identity, purpose, temptation, and hope. That lived experience continues to influence the conversations and content he helps shape for Christian singles navigating similar terrain.
For several years, George served as a facilitator in a divorce recovery program, walking alongside men and women learning how to heal and rebuild after relationships ended. His approach has never been about formulas or quick fixes, but about honesty, consistency, and faithful presence in the middle of uncertainty.
George is married to his wife, Kara, is a father of three, and a grandfather of two. He divides his time between Springfield, Missouri, and Orlando, Florida.
