Wendy Griffith
Wendy Griffith is a co-host of the 700 Club and an Anchor/Reporter for the Christian Broadcasting Network. She also co-anchors two other shows for CBN: Christian World News, a weekly show that focuses on the challenges facing the global church, and CBN Newswatch, a daily 30-minute newscast seen on networks throughout the country and on cbn.com. Wendy is the coauthor, with Craig Buseck, of Praying the News.
Wendy reports on a wide range of issues for CBN News and Christian World News. After a year as the network’s Congressional Correspondent on Capitol Hill, she moved to the Virginia Beach headquarters in 2000 to concentrate on stories with a more spiritual emphasis. She has also traveled internationally, covering stories such as the hostage drama of missionaries Martin and Gracia Burnham in the Philippines, the spiritual crisis over homosexuality in the Episcopal Church, and more recently the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah in northern Israel.
She began her television career at NBC affiliate KYEL-TV in Yuma, Ariz., in 1987 after graduating from West Virginia University in 1986 with a B.S. in Journalism. She then went on to work in several television markets across the country as an anchor/reporter, including NBC affiliate WCYB-TV in Bristol, Va.; ABC affiliate WCHS-TV in Charleston, W.Va.; and NBC affiliate WTVO-TV in Rockford, Ill.
After nearly two years in Rockford, she returned to Charleston, her hometown and West Virginia’s capitol city, to co-anchor the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts for WCHS-TV. Her position there opened the door to an opportunity to serve as press secretary and later special events coordinator to former West Virginia Gov. Cecil H. Underwood.
Dugan P. Kelley
Dugan P. Kelley has extensive experience representing churches, para-church ministries, and individuals in religious liberty suits. As a pastor’s son, he has been actively involved for several decades in counseling full-time ministries and individuals as they navigate the intersection between the law and Christianity. Mr. Kelley firmly believes in the priesthood of every believer.
Mr. Kelley actively maintains a national practice advising other clients in trade secret, catastrophic injury, class action, product liability, intellectual property, defamation and other complex litigation matters. Mr. Kelley’s practice also includes representing companies and family businesses in providing advice and counsel in the capacity as outside general counsel. Mr. Kelley was an adjunct law professor teaching fundamental legal skills, legal research and writing, and moot court to law students in the Orange County area.
Mr. Kelley received the top award for trial practice while attending law school and was Chairman of the Moot Court Board. From 2008 through 2015, Mr. Kelley has been selected as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star” — recognized as the best attorneys under age 40. Mr. Kelley has served on several Boards for Christian non-profit organizations. Mr. Kelley and his wife, Michelle have 3 boys and reside in the Dallas Texas Area. The entire Kelley family is actively involved in giving back to their local church and community.
Dr. Gary L. Rieben
Dr. Gary L. Rieben is the founder and President of Give Me That Book [GMTB] ministries. GMTB is a non-profit religious corporation dedicated to the promotion of the authority and sufficiency of the Bible, God’s Book; so that the Church of God might clearly and fully testify to the greatness and goodness of her Lord, Jesus Christ. The Purpose of the Foundation is to bring glory to Jesus Christ by calling the church to return to full confidence in the sufficiency of God’s Written Word, the Bible. In his BOOK God speaks to men. In his Book he reveals his character, his purposes and his ways. In his Book he tells his people how to live a life that glorifies him and brings great joy to their souls. In the Book, God’s promises and commands enable people of faith to stand victorious against any storm that would howl against their lives [Mathew 7:23-24].
Dr. Rieben has spent 40 years in full time vocational Ministry as Senior Pastor in Santa Barbara, Ca. [14 years] and San Diego, Ca. [12 years]. He is a graduate of Evangel University, B.A.; and Fuller Seminary, Master of Divinity; Doctor of Ministry. He is a past teacher and Board member of Biblical Counseling Foundation, Palm Desert Ca..
Gary lives in Malawi, Africa with his wife Barbara of 40 years. He has two sons, Brett and Chad.
